ABOUT THE ROLE
The Document Scanning Technician will report to the Director of Community Development. The technician will be tasked with following the AMANS Records Manual to ensure that the Town’s paper files are properly scanned and stored on the Laserfiche database. Duties will include scanning of documents and the proper naming of files. The technician will collaborate with Town staff when required to ensure files are complete.
QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with scanning equipment in an office setting.

Knowledge of PDF and image file formats.

Experience working in a government setting or other setting involving sensitive information.

An understanding of municipal government would be an asset.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Non-union
- $24.78/ hr. plus vacation pay
- Casual (up to 20 hours per week, based on a schedule approved by the supervisor)
- Operates out of Town Hall, 60 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater
- Repetitive, detailed work which requires sustained focus and concentration over long periods of time.
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate scanning equipment.
